*my theme was chosen; awesome!*

"Embry, man, you suck," Quil chuckled as he watched the young man standing before him struggle to move his fingers fast enough over the colored fret buttons while attempting Star Power in his futile quest to gain the score of a real Guitar Hero.

"Shut up," Embry shot, "Doesn't matter that I can't play this." His tongue poked out the side of his mouth in concentration as he tried to keep strumming and apply the whammy bar.

"Why is that?" Quil asked, mulling over in his head whether or not he should cause his friend to mess up when he was already trying so hard.

"I can play a real guitar. Besides, this is just a video game; who cares if I'm good at it?"

"Just a video game? My friend, how wrong you are! This game is so much more fun than real instruments. This game is cooler than. . . than you."

Embry scowled playfully at Quil and stuck his tongue out at him.

"Then again," Quil continued, "a lot of things are cooler than you."

Embry hit the last note of the song and turned to Quil pointedly.

"Say that again," Embry dared, removing the guitar from his shoulder and placing it on top of the television.

"What? That a lot of things are cooler than you?"

Embry let a playful growl rumble from his lips before he tackled Quil, both of them knocking into the couch, causing it to crack into the wall.

"Embry, my mom is going to kill me!" Quil tried not to laugh as he realized the damage they'd inflicted on the wall.

"What a shame," Embry smirked. He smacked Quil's head and ran laughing, enjoying their game of chase much more than any video game.
