#002: "How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor
Welcome to the second post of fridaydrabble! I hope you all enjoy this prompt and that you're inspired to write something! This week, I'm going to give you a song prompt and hopefully, one you'll be inspired to write something. I'd like to set down a few rules before I give you the prompt...

1. You may post whatever you write in other communities as long as you link back to this community in every post!
2. If you only write a drabble, please post it in a comment. If you write something longer, which is encouraged, please post it in a public post at another community or at your own journal and link it in a comment to this post.
3. As the subject of your comment, please use this form: "Title: Character/Pairing (Rating)". Another example of that subject would be "Brownies for My Baby: Edward/Bella (Rating: PG)".

1. How Sweet It Is by James Taylor (lyrics)

I linked the lyrics to this post, but if you have iTunes, you can download the song by clicking the name of the song, so you can listen to it. :D It's a great song! My reason for choosing it comes with a story:

I was reading Twilight around Thanksgiving time last year and this song was playing on my dad's computer. He was kind of "going back in time" and when he was... 14, he had a crush on a girl named Linda and this was their song. I don't know why I always remember that, but that's why I picked this song for this prompt. ;)

Have a blast,

"The Reception: Jacob/Bella (rating G)"
It is really, really hard to only write 100 words! So, this was longer. I had to look up the word drabble and it said 100 words. I had a million ideas and may have to use this for a fic because I didn't realize just how amazingly well this song fit.

Bella watched Jake walk up to the microphone and she couldn’t help grinning at the man she’d just married. The reception had been going on for hours and was finally winding down when Jake had whispered in her ears he had a surprise for her.
“I’d like to dedicate this to my Bells.”
Jake began singing and Bella giggled until she began to listen to the words she’d heard many times when her dad was listening to a tape in the car. The song was James Taylor’s “How Sweet it is”.
Bella melted as she realized that every word of that song captured their relationship. Jake was her sun. He’d loved her better than she knew. It was their song.
She stood and walked to him at the microphone and he held her close as he continued to sing.
